Presentation Slides - A Shadow: What Remains Of Normalcy
This slide deck was created for the presentation of my final project for an Art History course called “Visualizing the Nuclear Experience” at Oakland University. My project focused on the shadow images caused by atomic bombs, specifically the “Human Shadow Etched in Stone.” It is a piece of the stone steps of the Sumitomo bank in Hiroshima, where a person was siting or standing when the atomic bomb exploded.
The presentation capitalizes on wordplay by utilizing primarily black and white colors, with light beige section headings to add a hint of color while remaining on-theme. Each slide was designed to allow for the audience to focus on the content first, giving a cohesive flow to the presentation as a whole. I completed every aspect of this project, with the help of sources cited in the bibliography.
